steak baked chili beans

Denise Saylor

"When I waited tables i had a customer order some pinto beans and asked for hienze 57 sauce with it. They said it makes a great addition to baked beans. We thought it tasted more like chili. I have only made this once before posting the recipe. So I will be adding to in the future for more taste. I liked it with more ketchup. We added to the individual bowls. Others didn't. I thought corn was a nice addition to it, green beans I thought would go good in it and my husband disagreed. I had no onions that day or I would have added onions to it."

  1. Cook 3 cups of pinto beans until done. I cooked mine 3 hrs on the stove. Cook yoour hamburger till done. I added 15 oz hienze 57 sauce. I found it to be lacking in taste just barely so I added 1/4 c ketchup. I stirred in the garlic powder and old bay seasoning.
