  1. Brown the sausage and turkey in a skillet, add the peppers to the browning sausage/trukey mixture and leave on skillet until all the water is evaporated.
  2. Place all the other ingredients in a sauce pot under medium heat, mix together for 20 minutes.
  3. Add the turkey/sausage and peppers to the sauce pot and simmer on low/medium heat for another 15 minutes.
  4. Season with chili powder and cummin to taste.
  5. Serve with Johnny Cake (corn bread)
