Easy Mac and Cheese

"I adapted this from a number of mac & cheese dishes. I found the French onion soup and tabasco sauce really sets off the cheese taste quite nicely."

Original recipe yields 6 servings

  1. 1. Cook macaroni according to box instructions. Drain thoroughly, set aside.
  2. 2. In same pot, over medium heat, mix French Onion Soup and butter. Add Tabasco Sauce when butter is melted.
  3. 3. Add milk and Grated Cheddar Cheese slowly while mixing constantly. Sauce should be a thick, creamy consistency
  4. 4. Add the cooked macaroni about a cup at a time. Blend all together until macaroni is covered thoroughly.
  5. 5. Spray a large baking pan(13x9)with cooking spray.
  6. 6. Pour mixture into pan. Cover with aluminum foil
  7. 7. Bake for 45 minutes
  8. 8. Remove from oven. If desired you can put buttered bread crumbs on top at this time and put in under broiler for 5 minutes(adds a little extra!)
  9. Set on counter for 5 minutes. Then serve and enjoy!
