  1. In a sauce pan, melt chocolate pieces over low heat.
  2. Remove from heat and stir in sugar, rum and corn syrup.
  3. Fold in vanilla wafers and nuts together.
  4. Shape the mixture into 1 inch balls using about 2 tsp. of the mixture for each. Roll in additional sugar. Use some sugar to take moisture out of hands as needed.
  5. Store in an air tight container for several days.
