Crock Pot Potatoes Au Gratin

  1. 1. Grease or spray cooking spray in the crock pot
  2. 2. Peel potatoes and cut into 1/4" slices, or use a v-slicer
  3. 3. Add potatoes to crock pot and season well with garlic salt, kosher salt and seasoning salt
  4. 4. Melt butter in medium sauce pan
  5. 5. Stir in flour, then cook for 1-2 minutes to make a roux
  6. 6. Stir in milk
  7. 7. Add garlic to mixture with a garlic crusher, bring mixture to a boil and then simmer for 1-2 minutes
  8. 8. Remove mixture from heat and add the cheese, stir until melted
  9. 9. Pour cheese sauce over potatoes, stir well to make sure sauce gets to the bottom of crock pot
  10. 10. Cover crock pot with 2 layers of paper towels and then put the lid on
  11. 11. Cook on high for 2 1/2 hours. If potatoes aren't cooked enough, cook for an extra 30 minutes.
