  1. 1. Peel the cucumbers, slice them in half lengthwise, and seed them
  2. 2. Thinly slice the cleaned cucumbers and place in a bowl. Sprinkle them with 2/3 of salt and allow them to rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
  3. 3. Rinse and drain the cucumbers
  4. 4. Add the dill, sour cream, and vinegar to the cucumbers and mix well to combine.
  5. 5. Season with the remaining salt and pepper.
  6. 6. Drain any excess moisture from the salad. There shoud be just enough dressing to coat the cucumbers.
