  1. Mix water and yeast in bowl to proof for 5 minutes.
  2. In separate bowl mix 3 cups flour with salt.
  3. Mix yeast water and oil into flour.
  4. Keep adding flour until it is thick enough to kneed.
  5. Turn bread out onto floured surface and kneed for 10 minutes adding flour as needed. You will not use all the flour.
  6. Place bread into oiled bowl and cover with a towel. 7. Place in a warm spot and let rise for 40 minutes or until doubled.
  7. Punch down and divide into 6-8 equal pieces.
  8. Place on a cookie sheet covered with cornmeal and let rise for 35 minutes.
  9. Bake at 400 for 15-18 minutes.
