  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan and set aside
  3. In a large saucepan cook black beans in liquid until heated through
  4. Cool the beans and then drain all the liquid from the beans
  5. Mash the beans with a potato masher until nicely pureed and smooth
  6. In a large mixing bowl combine molasses and beans together and stir until beans are fully dissolved into molasses
  7. With a wire whisk add eggs and oil to molasses mixture and stir until eggs and oil are fully incorporated into the batter
  8. In a medium size bowl combine flours, Baking Powder, Salt, Spice and Sugar. Stir dry ingredients until no lumps remain in the flour.
  9. Add the dry ingredients to the molasses mixture and stir until all the flour is mixed into the batter
  10. Fill muffin cups 3/4 full with batter and bake in oven for 20 minutes or until lightly browned
