"These cookies came from my husband's family. I have 2 handwritten recipes, 1 from his mother and the other from his great aunts that raised his mother. I do not like these cookies but as the great aunts said on their recipe,"They dress up any holiday cookie platter"."

  1. Mix 3 1/2 T raspberry flavored jello with 3/4 sugar.\
  2. Beat 3 egg whites with 1/4 tsp salt until foamy.
  3. Add sugar/jello mixture gradually to foamy egg whites. beat until mixture stands in peaks. Make sure sugar is well dissolved.
  4. Mix in 1 T vinegar
  5. Fold in 1 cup chocolate morsels
  6. Drop by tsp. onto ungreased cookie sheets lined with parchment paper. Bake 25 minutes at 250 degrees F. Turn off the heat and leave cookies for 20 minutes in the oven to finish.
