"I had left over snow crab meat and baked potatoes from dinner and didn't know what to do with it. I was snowed in and couldn't get any extra ingredients for recipes so I made up my own with what I had. It is sooo good!"

  1. In a large saucepan, sauté onion, bacon pieces, garlic, celery and butter in large skillet season with salt and pepper –when onion is soft and bacon cooked through, add potato and Champagne simmer 5 min
  2. Add 1 1/2 Cmilk and heavy cream and Lawrys, stir frequently on medium heat for 10 min.
  3. Stir in crab meat, parsley, and salt and pepper, and sqeeze lemon into soup—stir gently.
  4. Add Brandy and last ½ C milk, you may add more salt and pepper here to personal taste.
  5. Bring to gentle bubble. Serve with any type bread, Hawaiin Bread was very good! You can top with shredded cheese of your choice if you'd like but it really doesn't need it. Enjoy!
