  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Grease a 12 cup muffin pan and set aside
  3. In a small bowl stir flours, cocoa, baking powder, baking soda, salt and sugar together until no lumps remain
  4. In a larger bowl pour dry ingredients in and add hot water, milk and egg. Mixing with an electric hand mixer beat until smooth and creamy.
  5. Pour batter into muffin cups filling 2/3 full.
  6. Bake for approximately 20 minutes or until browned on top and springs back when lightly touched on top of cake.
  7. Melt chocolate bar in a small saucepan over low to medium heat.
  8. In a mixing bow add butter to melted chocolate along with icing sugar and mix until the icing is smooth and spreadable
  9. Spread icing over cooled cupcakes


I can't have chocolate,my daughter's review.They are tasty,but to much chocolate for her,chocolate lovers would probably like these cupcakes.She made the recipe as written.
