"Warm spices, tart cranberries and a hit of orange - enjoy! After searching in vain for a cranberry recipe that incorporated spices I love, I got creative. This is the result. If you like your cranberries to be tart, you will likely not like this recipe, but if you want something that smells heavenly and tastes delicious - I think you'll enjoy this."

  1. In a small sauce pan (1-2 qrt) mix sugar, spices and extract. Stir in water. Bring to a boil over medium heat. Add cranberries and cook until they begin to pop, approximately 10-15 minutes. If you like yours softer, let simmer an additional 10-20 minutes and mash with a potato masher.
