Original recipe yields 35 servings

  1. In a large bowl, cream butter, sugar, and honey until smooth. Beat in eggs and vanilla. Stir in the rest of the ingredients. Shape into a disk and chill for an hour or up to 3 days.
  2. Roll out dough on floured surface to 1/4 inch thick. Cut into shapes and place on ungreased cookie sheet.
  3. Preheat the Oven to 375.
  4. Chill cut our cookies on sheets for at least 20 minutes. Don’t skip this step or the honey will ruin your cut out shapes!
  5. Bake 5-7 minutes in preheated oven. Cool completely before decorating.
