"This is one of my favorite recipes. It originated from my great-grandma, Lydia Odstrcil. She always had this tea ready during the holidays!"

  1. Boil the quart of cold water in a large saucepan and add tea bags. Let steep at least 15 minutes.
  2. Remove tea bags and add spices, orange, lemons, pineapple juice, and sugar. (Juice the fruit and let the wedges steep in the tea. Don't worry about pulp or seeds; you'll strain it out later.)
  3. Bring to a boil then remove from heat. Let stand off the heat for an hour.
  4. Strain mixture through a fine sieve and add the remaining 6 cups of water.
  5. Heat & Serve or refrigerate for later use. It will stay good for a week if refrigerated.
