  1. In large oven pan place roast.
  2. Pour sauerkraut around roast.
  3. Quarter apple and onion (don't need to peel apple).
  4. Place around on top of sauerkraut.
  5. Sprinkle with brown sugar and pour on 1 can of beer cover pan, sealing sides with foil.
  6. Bake in 250 degree oven for 3 to 4 hours depending on size
  7. of the roast.
  8. Add the 2nd beer if too dry.
  9. When ready to serve mix sauerkraut, apples and onions together
