"I've made this recipe on MANY occasions, and have been asked by virtually everyone, just HOW to make it. Even people who proclaim they "do not like hominy," simply LOVE this dish! This is a LARGE recipe, but perfect as a contribution for a "Pot Luck." You'll be surprised when there's none left! It is a perfect side dish to just about any meat that's being served. From Steak, to chicken, to Bar-B-Que, it's a great accompaniment."

  1. Preheat oven to 350F degrees.
  2. Set aside 1 cup of the cheddar cheese.
  3. Pour hominy, green chiles, sour cream, sharp cheddar cheese, and Velveeta into large mixing bowl and stir until well mixed.
  4. Spread mixture into a large/deep baking dish(9X13).
  5. Top with remaining sharp cheddar cheese.
  6. Bake for 40 minutes until bubbly hot.
  7. Allow to cool for 10-15 minutes before serving.
