"I grew up in Bremerton, WA, where Harvey's is made. My parents always had a tub in the refrigerator around the holidays. But it wasn't until this year that I tried Harvey's in recipes (not just in hot drinks). This is the best holiday yam recipe I've ever had. This recipe is a favorite of the family of Harvey's founder, Harvey Hudson."

  1. Peel and slice the yams and apples into about 1/8 inch slices (you can use a food processor to slice).
  2. Sort and wash the cranberries.
  3. Layer apples, yams, and cranberries into a 9 inch by 13 inch baking pan.
  4. Evenly spread small spoonfuls of Harvey's Butter Rum Batter across the yam/apple mix.
  5. Cover pan with foil and bake at 350 degrees F for about 1 hour, until the apples and yams are cooked through and tender.
