  1. Melt butter in saucepan; add chopped onion and minced garlic.
  2. Let that start cooking for a minute, then add green onion and cook for about another minute.
  3. Add herbs and milk.
  4. Let come to a boil then add cream cheese, stirring to melt the cheese.
  5. Add about salt and red pepper.
  6. Mix in thawed, thoroughly drained package chopped frozen spinach.
  7. Mix well. Taste and add more salt if needed.
