  1. peel and cut up potatoes into med-lg chunks
  2. cut off tips of beans, and peel off strings on sides, then cut into three, 2" slices
  3. put beans and potatoes into a pot, cover with water and add salt to taste
  4. cook for 30 minutes on a med-low heat
  5. For oil dressing:
  6. heat olive oil
  7. slice garlic and add it to the oil, fry for 30 seconds and remove from heat
  8. add paprika when the oil has cooled a bit
  9. To serve:
  10. strain beans and potatoes from water, reserve water for other recipes, if desired
  11. spoon beans and potatoes into soup-style bowls for each person, top with dressing or mayo (amount desired, start small and go from there)
  12. enjoy!
