Add oil. Cook sweet potatoes until beginning to brown. Return chicken to the pan. Add Irish whiskey, sage, pear, stir. Add water, partially cover, lower heat and cook until chicken is cooked through and sweet potatoes are tender, about 10 minutes. Remove lid, add spinach and cook until spinach is wilted, about 5 minutes. Stir in hazelnuts, adjust to taste with additional salt and pepper.
