"My mom used to make this for me growing up and I found out it was passed down to her from her mother. A delicious comfort food especially in the winter months that is quick and easy. Best served over mashed potatoes!"

  1. Cut round steak into strips and dredge in flour. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium heat; cook the floured beef in the hot oil until browned on both sides, about 15 minutes. Once it is browned, combine meat and remaining ingredients in slow cooker. Cook 4 hours on high, or 8 hours on low. Serve over mashed potatoes or egg noodles.
