"My husband I and eat this at least once a month. It is so flavorful and reheats wonderfully. Don't skip the green onion, it is what makes this dish."

  1. Whisk together the first 8 ingredients for the marinade. Reserve 1/4 cup and set aside. Place diced steak in a baggie and pour larger amount of marinade over it and seal bag. Marinate in refrigerator for 4 hours (or overnight), turning occasionally.
  2. If you stored your reserved marinade in refrigerator, remove to bring to room temperature while you cook. Whisk to blend.
  3. Heat oil in skillet.
  4. Remove steak from marinade and pat dry with paper towels. The steak will sear better if drier.
  5. Season meat with salt and pepper, cook meat in oil until cooked to medium, about 5-7 minutes.
  6. Take out of oil with slotted spoon and cover with reserved marinade.
  7. Serve with rice and add additional green onion before serving.
