Chicken Stroganoff


"I got this off of cdkitchen. Finally... a stroganoff that doesn't require a can of soup! Try adding broccoli for something a bit more healthy (hey, every little bit helps!). Hope you enjoy!"

  1. In a skillet, cook bacon until crisp. Drain, reserving 2 Tbsp. drippings, set bacon aside.
  2. In the drippings, cook the chicken, mushrooms and onion, until chicken is no longer pink. Add broth, garlic, salt, paprika, pepper and bacon. Cover and simmer for 10 minutes.
  3. Combine flour and sour cream until smooth. Add to skillet. Bring to a boil, cook and stir for 2 minutes or until thickened. Serve over noodles.
