"these cookies are best served warm! My friend and I came up with the recipe when we were experimenting with various ingredients and it is delicious. Make sure you sift the flour well to prevent them from being too tough (if you don't have a sifter you can just stir the flour with a fork before measuring). These cookies are quick and easy and don't require rolling out of the dough and slicing. Enjoy!"

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat margarine and sugar together with an electric mixer. Add in the egg and vanilla extract; mix well. In a separate mixing bowl, combine flour, baking powder and baking soda then mix with a fork in order to sift the mixture. Gradually add to the creamed mixture and beat until well mixed. Shape the dough into 1-inch balls, roll in sugar, and place onto a greased cookie sheet about 2 inches apart. Flatten each dough ball with a glass (sometimes you need to cover the bottom of the glass with sugar to prevent from sticking to the glass). Bake at 350 degrees for 11 mins.
