  1. * Lightly butter or spray a 9 x 13 baking pan. Spread pieces of bread in pan and pour melted butter over all of bread. Add bacon and cheese over bread pieces.
  2. * In a large bowl, beat together eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Pour egg mixture into pan and cover with aluminum foil. You may continue by baking at this point or refrigerate overnight.
  3. * Bake casserole in a preheated 325* oven for 40 minutes, remove aluminum continuing to bake for 20 minutes or longer - until eggs are cooked thoroughly and casserole is browned.
