"Using a variation of the Yummy Cheese Ball recipe found on this site by TABKAT, this ghoulishly good cheese ball has become a part of our family's Halloween tradition! It's as much fun to make as it is to eat!"

  1. Prepare bacon either in a skillet or oven-baked.
  2. Drain grease, allow to cool, and finely chop.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine bacon with next 7 ingredients (reserve tops of green onions).
  4. When mixed well, form into two balls, cover in plastic wrap and refrigerate for 3 hours or up to 3 days. Prior to decorating, let sit at room temperature for an hour, if possible.
  5. Decorate the Monster Ball using red cabbage for hair, green olives for eyes, pepperocini for nose (with toothpick), red pepper for mouth, black olives for toes, red pepper for toe nails and green onion tops for ears.
  6. Serve with buttery crackers (we love Ritz) or fresh veggies.
