  1. Bring water to a boil, then cook cranberries in a 4 quart saucepan with the lid on for about 10 min.
  2. Add 2 cups sugar and stir until all sugar is dissolved.
  3. Cook with the lid off for about 5 min over low heat.
  4. Remove from heat and pour into a bowl. Cool to room temperature.
  5. Refrigerate, This Keeps well so you can make it several days ahead.
