  1. Combine flour sugar, salt and yeast. Heat water, milk and two tbsp butter until hot to touch. Stir into dry mixture, add egg. Mix into a soft dough. Knead on floured surface until smooth and elastic. Cover for 10 minutes.
  2. Combine brown sugar, cinnamon, and remaining butter. Place 1/3 cup of mixture into a 9 inch greased pan. Blend in 2 tbsp water.
  3. Roll dough into 14 x 9 inch rectangle.spread with remaining cinnamon mixture. From short end, roll jelly roll style; pinch seam. Cut into 9 pieces; place cut side up in pan. Cover and let rise in a warm place about 40 minutes.
  4. Bake in 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes. Invert on rack to cool.
  5. Makes 9 buns
