  1. You will need one large pot and several medium-sized pans.
  2. In a large pot, over medium heat, melt bacon grease. Add ground pork, and cook for 5-6 minutes or until done, stirring often. With the end of a spatula, chop the ground pork into tiny pieces.
  3. In a pan, cook polska kielbasa until brown. Chop into small bite-sized pieces (or smaller), do not drain and add to the large pot.
  4. In a pan, add one tablespoon of butter and mushrooms, and cook mushrooms until they are brown. Do not drain and add to large pot.
  5. In a pan, add 2 tablespoons butter and add chopped onions and garlic. Cook over medium heat for 5-6 minutes until garlic is done. Do not drain, add to the large pot.
  6. Add beans, tomato paste, stewed tomatoes to the large pot.
  7. Simmer on low heat for a half hour to an hour, stirring every 5-10 minutes.
  8. Makes 17 10-ounce servings. Each serving has approximately:
