Add hot sauce to a saucepan. Heat on low and add butter, stirring occasionally until melted.
Add ketchup and stir until incorporated, then add buffalo wing seasoning, sugar, garlic powder and onion powder. Stir until smooth and consistent.
If sauce tastes too vinegar-y, add baking soda, maximum of 1/2 teaspoon. This will neutralize the vinegar in the hot sauce and ketchup. The sauce will bubble and increase in size-let the sauce settle before coating wings.
