"I LOVE making these tacos! This recipe is the complete Mexican way to make these! Straight from Tijuana! They are really fast and easy! You can use shrimp or fish (I usually use talapia if I do fish). My family eats them just tacos or with rice on the side."

  1. Salsa:
  2. Chop tomato and onion into small cubes. Add chopped cilantro and serrano chile (if you like it hot as we do in my house add as many chiles as you like!) add whole lime juice and salt to taste. Chill in fridge.
  3. Rice: Add enough vegetable oil to cover one cup of rice to a skillet.
  4. Add half chopped onion, 2 chopped garlic cloves and rice to oil and completely brown. Add about 1-2 tablespoons chicken bullion and 2 cups boiling water. Turn to low and cover until water is gone. *If you want red Mexican rice add one small can tomatoe sauce to same recipe.
  5. Tacos:
  6. Clean shrimp and cut each in half
  7. Add vegetable oil to skillet to heat on medium-medium high. In a bowl combine 2 cups of flour, a tablespoon of the mustard and salt and pepper (to taste). Gradually add beer and wisk until it is the consistancy of pancake batter.
  8. Cover each piece of shrimp generously and add to hot oil. Let brown and crisp. And continue with all the shrimp.
  9. Serve:
  10. Warm tortilla
  11. Spead some Real mayonaise on the torilla
  12. add 3-4 pieces of fried shrimp
  13. Some cabbage
  14. Salsa
  15. Rice on the side
