Original recipe yields 24 servings

  1. preheat over to 350*
  2. Grease 8 x 11 baking pan
  3. Mix all ingredients together except potato starch
  4. Cover with foil and bake all in pan for 1 hour (if you do not want to color or a single color)
  5. Mix together 2 c mixture and 3 drops green food coloring. Mix well. Pour into pan, cover with foil and bake for 15 minutes.
  6. Pour 2 c mixture over green layer. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes
  7. Add 3 drops red food color to remaining mixture. Pour onto top of green and white layers. Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
  8. When done, remove foil and cover with clean towel and let cool overnight. The next morning, sprinkle with Kinako and cut using a plastic knife.
