Stir brownie mix, eggs, oil, and melted butter together. Heat waffle griddle. It is important to spray the waffle griddle lightly between batches. Place three scoops of batter in griddle. Close griddle. Turn griddle over every once in awhile. Gradually loosen waffles before flipping them out onto a large plate. Place waffles on cooling racks. Makes about 4 batches. Waffles will become crispy as they cool.
Melt chocolate with milk over medium low heat. Remove from heat, add vanilla.
Layer as follows: waffles, sliced ice cream, cooled hot fudge sauce (reserve about 1/2 c of sauce to garnish top of cake). Place in freezer for at least half an hour before topping with cool whip. Garnish cool whip with reserved fudge sauce and broken chocolate bar. Return to freezer for at least 2 hours before serving. Waffles remain crispy. DELICIOUS!!
