  1. Combine dry in large bowl, whisk, and set aside.
  2. Beat eggs well, then whisk in melted butter. Continue whisking to emulsify a bit.
  3. Add buttermilk (can use milk with vinegar or lemon if desired).
  4. Pour wet into dry and lightly mix to combine - don't overmix. Let batter sit for 5 minutes.
  5. Pour into preheated waffle iron.
