  1. Put tomatoes & jalapeƱos in blender or food processor and pulse until desired consistency is reached.
  2. Pour mixture into a pot and add onions.
  3. Mince several sprigs of cilantro or 1 or 2 leaves of culantro and add to pot.
  4. Add a hefty amount of garlic & salt to taste and a few dashes of cumin & pepper to taste. A little cayenne can be added if more heat is needed.
  5. Cook over medium heat to bring flavors together. Stir occasionally Turn off heat when bubbling and a little frothy.
  6. Can be served warm or chilled.
