After chicken is washed and cubed place chicken in a medium size bowl add buttermilk let stand for 20-30 min in refrigerator while u start the rest of ur menu. In another medium bowl add flour salt pepper and season all to taste mix together. Drain buttermilk from chicken and softly pat dry with paper towel. Mix chicken in flour mixture until well coated on all sides heat oil in a medium to large saucepan on medium heat. Fry up chicken and place on paper towel plate so juices can rest and rinse out grease out of pan. Return chicken to pan and add picante sauce mix well and serve. Suggest over mashed potatoes.
