  1. Beat oil and sugar well. Add eggs, one at a time and blend each time. Add flour gradually to egg mixture. Blend well.
  2. Stir in apples, pecans and vanilla.
  3. Pour in a greased, floured tube pan and bake in a pre-heated oven at 350 degrees for 60-70 minutes. Cool cake to warm then pour frosting over cake.
  4. FROSTING:
  5. Melt butter with brown sugar on medium heat. Add milk and bring to a rolling boil. Boil 2 to 3 minutes. Cool and then add vanilla. (Beat if not thick enough to cover holes in cake)
