"Started out with a basic guatemalan rice recipe from a friends mom and modified it to my tastes. I added the celery, hot sauce and tomatoes. Excellent with chicken, pork or beef. It's by far my wifes favorite rice dish. My favorite to have with it is jamaican jerk chicken legs and vegetables."

  1. Put oil, garlic, celery and 4 shots of Habanero sauce into pot.
  2. Slimer garlic and celery lightly, do not let the garlic turn brown as it will make it bitter. Pour in rice and stir until all oil is absorbed into the rice.
  3. Pour in chicken broth and stir.
  4. Bring to boil stirring often.
  5. reduce heat to low, add tomatoes.
  6. Cover pot with saran wrap, and put lid on as well.
  7. Cook for 20 minutes and remove from heat.
  8. Remove lid and saran wrap and fluff with fork.


this is very tastey rice no need for soya sauce the flavor is not spicy at all
