  1. In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, scallion, salt, and pepper.
  2. Place salmon in marinating dish and coat with the maple syrup mixture.
  3. Cover the dish, seal, and marinate in the 'fridge for 60 minutes..
  4. Preheat grill on high for 5 minutes then reduce heat to 'Grill' and heat another 10 minutes.
  5. When done marinating, remove the salmon from marinade. and pat dry paper towels.
  6. Either discard the marinade or heat to boiling, reduce heat, and simmer until sauce is thick while the salmon is cooking.
  7. Grill salmon until translucent and meat flakes easily (about 20 minutes).
  8. Remove from grill and tent with foil; let salmon rest for 15 minutes.
