"This delicious salad recipe came from a friend of my mom's. I make Barbara's salad often in the summer and have shared the recipe many times. I shared this salad at the Buckeye Bash - June 2012"

  1. Mix in a small bowl or shake in a jar: sugar, water, oil, vinegar and 2 seasoning packets from Ramen noodles.
  2. Crumble Ramen noodles in a large bowl and add the broccoli slaw and onions.
  3. Shake/stir dressing very well before adding to the salad.
  4. Add the dressing 1/2 hour to 4 hours before serving. Depends on how crunchy you want the Ramen noodles.
  5. Add the cashews and sunflower seeds right before serving.
