  1. 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.
  2. 2. Blend in bowl: 1/2 box of cake mix, egg, cream & stir. Berries/fruit should be mixed last if they are ripe & thawed to preserve shape. To save time, I stir in frozen fruit at same time.
  3. 3. Pour mixture into greased, small, cake or loaf pan
  4. 4. Blend (in same bowl to save on dishes): other 1/2 of cake mix, oats, coconut and pour dry on top.
  5. 5. Drizzle evenly with melted butter, trying to get all dry ingredients wet on top.
  6. 6. Bake at 350 for 20-30 minutes until top is crispy & cake pulls away from sides slightly.
  7. 7. Let cool a bit & serve in slices.
  8. Goes well with ice cream or sweet red wine (lambrusco)
