"Once you've had a Sonoran hotdog you won't want any other kind. The key to eating the best Sonoran Hotdog is the bread. There is no substitute for the sweet and fluffy Mexican hotdog buns but I have found a close comparison - Potato buns."

  1. Wrap the weenies in bacon and cook on a griddle until bacon is crispy
  2. Warm potato bun for 15 seconds in microwave (to soften it up)
  3. Spread mayo inside the bun
  4. Insert Weenie
  5. Top with pinto beans
  6. Add another layer of mayo (this will help keep the following ingredients from falling and add extra flavor)
  7. Add diced onions and tomatoes
  8. Drizzle jalapeno sauce
  9. Dice avocado spread on top of your hot dog
  10. Roast the yellow pepper and enjoy with your hotdog
