Combine all ingredients in stainless or enamel saucepan, not aluminum. Bring to a boil, stirring to dissolve sugar. Reduce heat and simmer, stirring occasionally, until slightly thickened, about 5-6 minutes. Serve with grilled meat or chicken. We like to add a little horseradish to this just before serving, for even more flavor. This is a great sauce to use for barbecued hamburgers, as well.
