  1. 1 warm (just take the chill off and shred the beef
  2. 2 saute the onion
  3. 3 add the mushroom slices until they darken, shrink and let off a lot of their moisture
  4. 4 add the shredded beef and turn the heat up to brown the meat, 'shrooms and onion (carmelize the sugars)
  5. 5 dump in can of soup and 1/2 tub of sour cream
  6. add ground pepper to taste and serve over potatoes or noodles
