  1. Heat the oil in a saute pan with a tightly fitting lid and saute the onions over medium heat until they begin to change color,about four minutes.
  2. If using crushed garlic,add to pan and cook for 30 seconds until the fragrance emerges then add the drained spinach. Add the Lawry's or Mrs Dash,garlic powder and pepper flakes if using. Stir to coat the spinach and cover. Reduce heat to low after two minutes. When cooked the spinach will be a vibrant green in color and have a slight crunch. Do not allow to over-soften.
  3. Drizzle with extra olive oil to serve.
