  1. Line an 8x8 dish with parchment.
  2. Melt chocolate chips in the microwave, stirring every 30 seconds, until smooth. Spread into prepared dish and set aside.
  3. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar and corn syrup and cook, stirring often, until sugar has disolved and tiny bubbles appear. Stir in the vanilla and chunky peanut butter.
  4. Meanwhile, mix cereal, fruit and almonds in a large bowl.
  5. Pour peanut butter sauce over cereal mix and stir until evenly coated.
  6. Drop by spoonfuls over chocolate in prepared dish. Using a spatula, press cereal mix evenly into dish.
  7. Make six cut with a knife, three cuts perpendicular to one another, to pre-score the bars and refrigerate until firm, about an hour.
  8. Remove from dish and recut.

Hello, recipe creater here. I think these would come out much better in a the 9x13 dish as they come out rather high and thick in an 8x8. Might want to melt more chocolate for the bottom thoug...
