"This was my attempt at another recipe until I realized that I did not have all of the ingredients that theirs called for. I made some adjustments and came up with this combination. People at work ate 3-6 of them apiece and gave me money to buy supplies to make the again!"
2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, margarine , brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla until smooth. Combine the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cayenne pepper, and salt; stir into the sugar mixture. Slowly mix in the oats, raisins, and chips. Drop by rounded spoonfuls onto foil-lined cookie sheets.
3. Bake 9 to 12 minutes until light and golden.
Do not over-bake. Let them cool on the cookie sheet for 2-3 minutes before removing cookies on foil to fully cool on counter-top/table. Store in air-tight container.
