  1. Pour the broth and water into a Large pot and stir in the tomato paste and the gravy master, put in the bay leaves and bring up to a simmer. While bringing this up, brown off the beef in a skillet with a little pepper and dash of salt.
  2. Place the meat into the pot along with all the vegetables and mushrooms and a couple dashes of hot sauce and the black pepper. let slow simmer for 3-4 hours ( Can be done in a crock pot for 6-8 hours)
  3. Serve with crackers or my favorite is sliced French or Italian bread
  4. You can add any vegetable you like to this, this is just how I was raised with it
