  1. Cook grits according to package directions, using 4 cups broth for water. Stir in salt, butter and Parmesan cheese.
  2. While grits are cooking, remove sausage from casings. Cook sausage and next seven ingredients in a large skillet over medium-high heat, stirring until sausage crumbles and is no longer pink and vegetables are tender. Serve over the Parmesan cheese grits.
