  1. Preheat oven to 375F.
  2. In large pan boil potatoes until tender.
  3. Mash potatoes, add 3 Tbsp butter, milk, grated parmesian(or Romano) cheese, beaten eggs and salt & pepper to taste. Beat until creamy and light; add more butter and milk, if needed and to taste.
  4. Butter 11" pie plate (can use deep dish 9") and sprinkle with bread crumbs.
  5. Arrange half the mashed potato mixture in the plate. Cover completely with all the mozzarella cheese.
  6. Top with remaining potatoes.
  7. Sprinkle top with bread crumbs and dot with butter.
  8. Bake in oven 40-45 minutes or until top is crusty.
